The minimum requirements you need to open a checking or savings account include a minimum deposit of $25, a valid ID, and proof of address. For all requirements, please contact one of our bilingual branches.
You can use multiple IDs to open an account. For example: U.S. driver's license, U.S. state ID, employment card, green card, foreign passport or foreign driver's license, or domestic entity ID (consular ID card). There are different ways to send and receive money. For international services, M&T account holders can transfer funds.
